Liad Sandmann is a Tel Aviv–based architect, engaged in Middle Eastern landscapes, mythologies, and temporal structures. He graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem in 2016, and earned his Master of Architecture degree with a full scholarship from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

His practice spans building, exhibition, and text, tracing the relationship between body, repetition, place, and decay. His projects move between the built and the unbuilt, treating both as territories of shifting meaning from the desert to the beach.

Liad is currently an Adjunct Professor and First Year Studio Instructor, as well as the head of the Ortho_Urban Lab at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem.
